Ryurei Aikido was honoured to be invited to demonstrate at the 2019 Humanics Institute Open House held on Sunday June 23, 2019 in Cumberland Ontario. Under sunny skies and some wonderfully warm weather, Sensei Potenchin, Ryurei Chief Instructor and Dan Duguay, Assistant Instructor provided an overview of aikido. a demonstration of Shinkido as the basis for Ryurei Aikido, along with some techniques and weapons demonstrations.

We thank all of those who came out to the Humanics Institute Open House and spent a wonderful morning with Ryurei Aikido.

The first of many demonstrations and free classes was held on Sunday August 18th at the Ryurei Aikido dojo in Manotick. Under somewhat cloudy skies some wonderfully flowing techniques were demonstrated, along with some weapons demonstrations in the new Ryurei Aikido dojo overlooking the Rideau River.
